We cannot stress enough the importance of good stock handling
and good packing skills. Only by learning these skills and using
them will you be able to access the back country. The knowledge
contained in this video will allow you to fulfill your biggest
responsibility as a guide, that is , safety for yourself, the client
and maintaining soundness and safety of stock. Most people do
not realize how important these skills are so here at R.M.S. We
pride ourselves on teaching them extensively and in detail.
We teach both styles of packing, the sawbuck and decker to the
full. This video explains and shows in detail how these hitches
can be tied. This is extremely important in holding your job. It
also will show you how you can practice these hitches at home.
