Rocky Mountain Guide School,

I am writing a letter as a student that has completed the Rocky Mountain Guide School run by Phil and Deb Page.

My biggest concern going into this was that I didn’t have any experience with horses and mules. But both Phil and Deb spent the extra time working with me and the stock. Now I am very comfortable with livestock.

The instruction was excellent. Both Phil and Deb are great instructors and are very patient people. The guest instructors were also great. There was a shooting class, a caping class, a fishing trip in a drift boat, and other classes.

Straight out of school I went to work guiding white water rafting trips for three months and I guided fishing trips for a month. Then I was in hunting camp for two months guiding and packing. Everything my ouffitter wanted me to do, I had been taught, such as bugling, caping, quartering, and packing. I even guided two hunts that were very successful, two bulls and a bear.

I am very happy with everything I learned at the Rocky Mountain Guide School. Now that I’ve finished a season I am pleased more than ever with what I’ve learned.

Rocky Mountain Guide School is an excellent choice for a guide school.

Sincerely,
